Join Miss Abby and Dizzy in Hoolaville as we learn about sustained spins! The sustained spin is a really beautiful move that should be practiced in both directions. As you spin, the hoop will begin to levitate! This is a great move to do with the little ones too! We’ve seen hoopers as young as 2 years old accomplish this move 🙂

Some quick tips:
– Work on developing a “soft gaze” – this is where you don’t focus on any one thing… enjoy losing focus of your surroundings and take it moment by moment. Be sure to listen to your body and take breaks if needed!
– You could also try “spotting” – This is a ballet term, and the goal is to keep the dancer’s head and eyes consistent during turns, to help with control and prevent dizziness.
