Managing, engaging, and interacting with young children in an active setting like a hoop dance class can be extremely challenging. Actually, it’s easier than you think. Don’t forget they are there to have fun. You should have a “toolbox” of ideas and good solid action plan. Games to play, exercises etc. If you want to set up a whole hooping sequence, keep it simple that only uses basic movements.

This introductory hoop dance sequence is a total hit with kids aged 2-8 years old! It forms a good basis that they can have fun with and add onto as they learn more tricks. The focus is on the sheer joy of moving rather than perfection.
